1.Acceptance of Terms
By subscribing to The AI Playbook newsletter, accessing any of our content, or purchasing a paid subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ECWE Ventures LLC ("we," "us," "our").
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not subscribe or use our services. Your continued subscription or use of our services following any modification to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms apply to all tiers: the free weekly newsletter and any paid subscription tier.
2.Description of Services
The AI Playbook is a newsletter published by ECWE Ventures LLC that delivers tested AI workflows, prompts, and analysis to subscribers. We offer:
- Free Tier: A weekly newsletter issue delivered by email, containing one complete, tested AI workflow with exact prompts.
- Paid All Access Tier: Enhanced access including additional content, archives, bonus workflows, and any premium features we publish, available via monthly or annual subscription.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the services at any time, with reasonable notice provided to active paid subscribers.
3.Subscription and Billing
Free Tier
The free tier requires only your email address. There is no payment required and no obligation to purchase.
Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis — monthly or annually — via Stripe. By purchasing a paid subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- All prices are in USD and are clearly disclosed at checkout.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
- We may change pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice to existing paid subscribers before any price increase takes effect. Your continued subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
- Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction and will be added at checkout where required.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full payment card information. By providing payment details, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
4.Content and Intellectual Property
Our Content
All newsletter content — including written analysis, AI workflow descriptions, prompt templates, graphics, and any other materials — is owned by ECWE Ventures LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your License to Use Prompts
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the AI prompts and workflows published in our newsletter for your own personal or internal business use. You may adapt prompts for your own work.
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, or republish our newsletter content or prompt collections as your own product or service.
- Share paid subscriber content with non-subscribers.
- Scrape or systematically extract content for use in competing publications or products.
- Remove any copyright notices or attribution.
User-Submitted Content
If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions to us, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use that feedback for improving our services. We will not publicly attribute feedback to you without your permission.
5.Email Subscription
By subscribing to the free or paid tier, you consent to receive the newsletter and related transactional emails (billing confirmations, service notices) from us. We use Beehiiv as our newsletter delivery platform.
You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us at [email protected]. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not cancel a paid subscription — you must cancel separately as described in Section 9.
6.Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Transmit spam, unsolicited messages, or malicious code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
We reserve the right to terminate access for any subscriber who violates these terms.
7.Disclaimers
The AI Playbook is an educational newsletter. Content is provided for informational and productivity purposes only.
- We do not guarantee any specific outcome from using the AI workflows or prompts we publish.
- Results will vary based on your AI tools, use case, and implementation.
- Nothing in our newsletter constitutes professional legal, financial, medical, or other licensed professional advice.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or any other AI platform mentioned in our content.
Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
8.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ECWE Ventures LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9.Cancellation and Termination
Cancelling a Paid Subscription
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid content until then. To cancel:
- Email us at [email protected] with the subject "Cancel Subscription," or
- Manage your subscription directly through the Stripe customer portal (link in your billing confirmation email).
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.
Unsubscribing from Free Newsletter
Click the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us directly. We will process your request within 10 business days.
Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or chargebacks. If we terminate a paid subscription without cause, we will provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the current billing period.
10.Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify paid subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. For free subscribers, the updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued subscription constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
